Greek Panhellenic 2026 exams show mixed subject performance ahead of June results

The 2026 Panhellenic examinations for Greek high‑school graduates have been completed and early analyses from teachers and grading centers indicate divergent outcomes across the four scientific fields.

In the humanities, legal and social sciences (Field 1) subjects such as Ancient Greek are assessed as significantly harder than in 2025, while Latin and History remain on a similar difficulty level. The natural sciences (Field 2) see stable difficulty in Mathematics and easier Physics, but Chemistry is rated among the most demanding exams of recent years. Health sciences (Field 3) report a tougher Biology paper, which together with Chemistry is expected to curb the appearance of top‑grade scores. In economics and informatics (Field 4), Mathematics and Informatics retain their usual difficulty, whereas the Economic Theory exam introduced more layered questions that may lower scores for some candidates.
