Greek Panhellenic Exams 2026 conclude with GEL tests and EPAL specialty exams
On Monday 8 June 2026, students in Greece’s General Lyceum (GEL) completed their orientation exams covering History for humanities, Physics for sciences and health, and Economics for economics and informatics, marking the end of that segment of the Panhellenic examinations. The Ministry of Education expects the exam scores to be released toward the end of June, with admission bases and the list of successful candidates to be published in late July.
The examination period continues for Vocational Lyceum (EPAL) candidates. From 9 June through 15 June, EPAL students sat specialty exams in subjects such as Hygiene, Naval Law – International Maritime Regulations, Principles of Organization and Management (AOD), and Elements of Engines, among others. Additional specialty examinations are scheduled for later June dates, including foreign languages, design, and music subjects, as well as health‑related assessments between 15‑26 June.
