Greek National Exams 2026 – Special‑Subject Tests Start June 16, Scores Due Late June

From 16 to 25 June 2026 Greece will hold the special‑subject examinations for candidates of General (ΓΕΛ) and Vocational (ΕΠΑΛ) lyceums. The schedule begins with English on 16 June and continues with Free Design, Linear Design, German, Music Theory & Perception, Music Performance, French, Italian and Spanish. Candidates must arrive at the examination rooms by 08:00 for sessions starting at 08:30 and by 09:30 for those beginning at 10:00. Foreign‑language exams last three hours, design exams six hours, and music performance exams four to six minutes per candidate.

On 15 June the EPAL candidates complete their specialty‑subject tests (Cooling‑Air‑Conditioning, Aircraft Engines, Central Heating Design), while gymnasium students finish their promotion and exit exams. The same day marks the final school day for preschools and primary schools.

Health examinations and practical tests for admission to the Physical Education and Sports Science departments (ΤΕΦΑΑ) run from 15 to 26 June. Results for General Education and Orientation subjects are expected to be published by the end of June, accompanied by official statistics. After the scores are released, an online platform will open in the first half of July for candidates to submit their application forms, with admission bases announced by the end of the month.
