‘We Lost the Holy Aunt’ Tour Hits Cities Across Greece
The Greek stage play “We Lost the Holy Aunt” (original title «Χάσαμε τη Θεία Στοπ») by writer Giorgos Dialegmenos, which premiered to critical acclaim at the new ΦΙΛΙΠ theatre in Athens, is touring Greece during the summer of 2026. The production is staged by the Methexis theatrical company, directed by Christos Tripodis, and features the original cast of Vivi Konto‑Mari, Natassa Kotsovou, Fotini Baxevani, Giorgos Soxes, Christos Tripodis, Agni Chioti, with additional performers Vasilis Yiannelos and Valentinos Valas. Audio excerpts of the late singer Chrysa Ropa are incorporated. The tour began on 14 July 2026 in Chios and will visit dozens of venues, including Lesbos, Agriani, Koridallos, Halkida, Ilioúpoli, Kastróni, Ptolemaida, Grevena, Aspropyrgos, Komotini, Alexandroupoli, Kavala, Skydra and Lemnos, among others, continuing through August.
