Greek play “I Want to Hold Your Hand” starts summer tour in Thessaloniki

The stage production “I Want to Hold Your Hand”, created by actor‑writer Tasos Iordanidis and composer‑director Thalia Matika, is embarking on a nationwide summer tour after a five‑year run in Athens. The play, which explores the fragile moments of a long‑term relationship through a blend of humor and emotion, will be performed at the Garden Theater in Thessaloniki on July 15, 16 and 17 at 9:30 p.m.

The production team includes set and costume designer Eleftheria Doulaidi, lighting by Zoe Molvdá‑Famelí, sound design by Stefanos Keramidas and assistant director Maria Kartsaveliki. The two lead actors, Tasos Iordanidis and Thalia Matika, each play one half of the couple confronting unspoken issues in a transient hotel room setting. The tour will continue to other Greek cities throughout the summer.
