Greek police arrest cocaine traffickers in Mykonos and Chalkidiki
Greek police detained a 30‑year‑old cocaine dealer on Mykonos after a European arrest warrant issued by Italy. The man, wanted for drug smuggling, was found with 239 small cocaine packages, 296 g of pink cocaine, 154 g of cannabis‑infused chocolate, ketamine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, tablets and cash totalling €8,000 and $1,160. Authorities estimate his illicit profit at €45,000. The seizure also included a mobile phone and a weighing scale.
In a separate operation in Chalkidiki, police arrested a father and his son for drug trafficking. Initial searches uncovered a 1.1‑g packet of cocaine, two mobile phones and €280. A subsequent raid revealed six additional cocaine packages weighing 50.88 g, two cannabis parcels (2.9 g), a precision scale, €3,795 in cash and a dual‑cylinder motorcycle used for transport. Both sets of suspects will be forwarded to the public prosecutor.
