Greek police seize cocaine and other drugs in Heraklion and Mykonos arrests
Police in Heraklion, Crete, arrested two local men, aged 39 and 40, after a raid on July 3, 2026 seized 152.1 g of cocaine, €6,000 in cash, a precision scale, three mobile phones, two passenger cars and a two‑wheel motorcycle used for drug trafficking.
On the same day, authorities on the island of Mykonos detained a 30‑year‑old foreign national accused of smuggling large quantities of narcotics. The seizure included 239 “fixes” of cocaine weighing 296.5 g, 31 g of ketamine, 154 g of processed cannabis, 31 g of hallucinogenic mushrooms, €8,000, $1,160 and related equipment. The suspect was subject to a European arrest warrant issued by Italian police and a Schengen entry ban from German authorities.
