Greek police seize drugs and arrest dealers in Thessaloniki and Attica

In Thessaloniki, police from the Immediate Intervention Unit of the Drug Crime Division arrested a 31‑year‑old resident who had turned his central apartment into a drug distribution hub. A raid uncovered 58.18 g of raw cannabis, 5.85 g of processed cannabis, a small weapons cache (metal rods, knives, hand pistols), cash totaling €11,265 and other paraphernalia. Three additional men were detained at the scene with 23.57 g of cannabis they had obtained from the suspect.

In the Attica region, officers from the Sub‑Division for Drug Prosecution detained three men aged 28, 30 and 36 after a June 30 operation. The seizure included more than 3 kg of cocaine (3.29 kg), an improvised‑explosive‑car, €1,250 in cash and six mobile phones. The suspects have prior convictions for organized‑crime‑related offences and are facing charges of possession and trafficking of cocaine as well as violence against police.
