Greek power grid operator DEH schedules maintenance‑related outages across Attica
The Public Power Corporation (ΔΕΔΔΗΕ) announced planned electricity interruptions in the Attica region as part of network maintenance, upgrades and expansion work. On Saturday 6 June 2026 outages are scheduled in eight districts—Athens, Nea Smyrni, Piraeus, Kallithea, Laurium (Sounio), Marousi, Alimos and Paleo Faliro—with start times at 08:00 and end times ranging from 10:30 to 17:00, depending on the area. A separate set of cuts was slated for Friday 5 June 2026, affecting numerous neighborhoods and streets throughout the wider Attica area, including parts of Athens, Piraeus, Kallithea, Marousi, Alimos and others, with shutdown periods extending from the morning until early afternoon.
Consumers in the affected zones were advised to disconnect sensitive appliances, avoid electrical work during the outages and remain prepared for possible earlier re‑energisation. Updates on any changes are to be issued through DEH’s official communications.
