Greek primary schools mark end of academic year with celebrations and upgrades

Primary schools in Greece held end‑of‑year ceremonies in June 2026. At a school in Agia Kalamakia, pupils performed songs and a play, reflected on six years of study and bid farewell to graduating sixth‑grade girls. The school was also honoured for a UNICEF‑partnered project on children’s rights and held a session on online safety, where a psychologist explained grooming risks and AI‑related threats.

In Argos, Deputy Mayor for Education Panagiotis Kamposos praised the recent improvements at the 7th Primary School, noting modernised electrical systems, a new heating boiler, broadband in four classrooms and structured wiring in the computer lab, as well as added protective grilles and upgraded lighting around the schoolyard. He highlighted the municipality’s fast‑track response to maintenance requests and wished the community a healthy summer.
