Greece opens applications for 2026‑27 vocational training schools

From Monday 13 July 2026, applications for the 2026‑27 academic year open for public Schools of Higher Vocational Training (ΣΑΕΚ) across Greece. The ELGO‑ΔΗΜΗΤΡΑ network will accept enrolments until 15 September 2026 for six regional schools offering seven specialities in agriculture, food processing and related fields.

The Public Employment Service (ΔΥΠΑ) also launches its online portal at 14:00 on 29 June 2026, allowing candidates to apply for any of its 30 ΣΑΕΚ and choose up to three of the 46 specialties covering health, IT, tourism, industry and other sectors. Applications close on 11 September 2026.

All programmes are free, last five semesters (four theory‑lab semesters plus a paid practicum of 960 hours) and grant a Level‑5 professional qualification after successful certification. Eligibility is limited to holders of a General or Vocational High School diploma, with no age restriction.

Similar enrolment periods start for night‑school programmes in Livadia and for general‑education, vocational‑high‑school and post‑vocational‑high‑school registrations, which can be submitted electronically via the gov.gr portal until early July.
