The Public Employment Service (ΔΥΠΑ) in Greece has posted the list of retirees who qualify for the 2026‑27 social tourism program. The scheme allocates 25,000 vouchers worth a total budget of €3 million and runs for 13 months, ending on 9 July 2027.

Eligible participants can stay up to six nights in a listed accommodation with a small private contribution. In selected islands (Leros, Mytilene, Chios, Kos, Samothrace, Rhodes) and certain regional units, the vouchers cover up to ten or twelve nights free of charge. An additional 20 % subsidy applies during peak periods – August and the Christmas, New‑Year and Easter holidays. The program also subsidises ferry tickets, which are free for persons with disabilities. Beneficiaries can check their status and print vouchers via the ΔΥΠΑ e‑services portal; no supporting documents are required except for luxury‑category stays. Recipients of the previous year’s scheme who have not yet used their vouchers may travel until 30 June 2026.
