Greek retirees eligible for 2026‑27 social tourism program as beneficiary list published

The Public Employment Service (ΔΥΠΑ) has posted the final list of retirees eligible for Greece's social tourism scheme for 2026‑2027. The programme runs for 13 months, ending on 9 July 2027, with a €3 million budget and 25,000 vouchers issued.

Beneficiaries can stay up to six nights in approved accommodations, with free stays of up to 10 nights on Lesvos, Mytilene, Chios, Kos, Samos and Rhodes, and up to 12 nights in selected mainland municipalities. Subsidies increase by 20 % during August, the Christmas period (15 Dec 2026 – 14 Jan 2027) and Easter (23 Apr 2027 – 9 May 2027). The scheme also covers ferry tickets, with a 25 % co‑payment by users; tickets are free for people with disabilities. Eligible retirees can verify their status and print vouchers via the ΔΥΠΑ e‑services portal.
