Greek schools open applications for student vacancies

Educational institutions in Greece have announced procedures to fill student vacancies for the upcoming academic periods.

The 6th Experimental Primary School of Alimos is seeking to fill four vacant positions across the 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades for the 2026-27 school year. Interested parents or guardians must submit applications between September 3 and September 7, 2026. Applications can be submitted in person or electronically via the school's email, provided all necessary documentation and parental consent declarations are included.

Separately, the Public Onassis Schools have opened applications for supplementary entrance examinations to fill vacancies in middle and high school grades. The application window runs from September 2 to September 8, 2026, via a dedicated electronic platform. These examinations, scheduled for September 9, 2026, will assess students in Greek language and mathematics to cover vacancies in the 2nd grade of middle and high schools, as well as remaining spots in the 1st grade where previous candidate lists were exhausted.
