Greek Special Subject Exams Commence for High School and Vocational Students

On Tuesday 16 June 2026 the special‑subject examinations for Greek General Lyceum (ΓΕΛ) and Vocational Lyceum (ΕΠΑΛ) candidates began, with the English paper as the first test. The schedule runs daily through 25 June, covering subjects such as Free Design, Linear Design, German, Music Perception, Theory and Harmony, Music Performance, French, Italian and Spanish. Examination start times are either 08:30 (with candidates required in the room by 08:00) or 10:00 (candidates must arrive by 09:30), depending on the subject.

In parallel, health examinations and practical trials for admission to Physical Education and Sports Science programmes are being held from 15 June to 26 June. Results for all Πανελλαδικές (National) examinations are expected by 26 June. The exams are a prerequisite for candidates seeking entry to university departments that require one or more special‑subject tests.
