Greek sprinters share 100 m gold at national championships

At the Stoiximan Panhellenic Track and Field Championships in Volos, women's 100 m ended in a historic tie. Rafaela Spanoudaki and Polyniki Emmanouilidou each recorded 11.37 seconds, sharing the gold medal. The podium was completed by Dimtri Tskinoula, who took bronze with 11.54 seconds.

In the men's 100 m, Sotiris Garagkhanis defended his title, finishing first in 10.24 seconds and setting a new personal best. He was followed by Giannis Myrianthopoulos (10.39) and Panagiotis Panagiotopoulos (10.40). Other highlights included a win in the men's 110 m hurdles by Christos Roumtzios and a surprise victory for Sofia Kampredou in the women's 100 m hurdles.

The championships serve as preparation for upcoming international competitions, with athletes looking ahead to the European Championships in Birmingham.
