Greek summer music festivals in Crete and Larissa raise funds and entertain crowds

On Friday 3 July 2026, the Friends of the Third‑Age Association in Ierapetra, Crete, will host a charitable Cretan‑style gala featuring singer Manolis Kontaros. Tickets cost €25 and include a traditional menu; all proceeds will support the Ierapetra nursing home.

Later the same evening, the Panagrotikos Nikea sports club in Nikea, Larissa, will stage a large summer music night at the local stadium. Headliners Xenia Vera and Michalis Papamathiou will perform alongside other folk artists. Admission is €70 per table and the event aims to provide a festive experience for the Larissa region.

Both festivals are part of a series of local cultural celebrations scheduled for the start of July, highlighting regional music traditions while offering community‑focused entertainment.
