Greek Summer Theatre Shows Debut in Velika and Kriini

The comedy “Η Ψευτοϋπηρέτρια” by playwright Marivo will be staged at the Theatre of the Sea in Velika on Saturday, 1 August 2026, as part of the summer tour of the Theatre of Arts of Larissa. Ticket prices range from €8 for reduced‑price categories to €10 for a standard adult ticket.

On Friday, 31 July 2026, the adaptation “Μαρία η Αλισσιώτισσα” – a modern take on the classic “Μαρία Πενταγιώτισσα” by Bost – will open at the Kriini theatre. The production, directed by Vasilis Vathy alos, is presented within the Patras Amateur Theatre Festival and features music and choreography by Theodoros Giannakopoulos.

Both performances are scheduled for the summer cultural season in Greece and aim to comment on social conventions through satire and humor.
