Greek tax authority AADE issues second EFΚ fuel refund to 88,833 farmers

The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) paid the second tranche of the Special Consumption Tax (EFΚ) refund for agricultural fuel on 21 July 2024. The payment amounts to €24,790,488.49 and is credited to 88,833 eligible Greek farmers who purchased motor fuel in the second quarter of 2026. The refunds are based on data submitted through the digital platforms myDATA and esend.

With this disbursement, the total amount allocated for EFΚ fuel refunds in 2026 reaches €45,473,975.65, covering 98,941 beneficiaries. Starting 22 July, farmers can view detailed invoice information and refund amounts through the "Return EFΚ Farmers 2026" application on the myBusinessSupport platform. The service also provides a 24/7 tax‑payer helpline (1521) for further assistance.
