Greek telecom OTE posts 4.9% revenue rise and 2.8% EBITDA gain in Q1 2026

The OTE Group reported a 4.9% increase in revenue to €859.5 million and a 2.8% rise in adjusted EBITDA to €338.4 million for the first quarter of 2026, aligning with its target of 3% EBITDA growth for the year. Mobile services led the growth with a 5.5% revenue increase and a record 7.6% rise in contract subscriber additions. Fixed‑line retail revenue grew 1.1%, boosted by strong performance in FTTH, FWA and television, with FTTH connections reaching 625 thousand and coverage expanding to over 2.1 million households (39% penetration). The group highlighted continued investment in fiber, home connectivity services and Business Cloud projects that support AI adoption. CEO Kostas Nembis said the results show a “dynamic start” for 2026 and reaffirm OTE’s market‑leading position despite intensified competition, including the entry of DEH into telecom. OTE expects operating profit to rise around 3% in 2026, mobile revenue to grow near 3%, and free cash flow to reach €570‑580 million, backed by €600 million of planned capex.
