Greek theater venues announce upcoming cultural performances

The Petra Theater in Petroupoli will host a performance of Bertolt Brecht’s ‘Saint Joan of the Stockyards’ on Sunday, August 30. Presented by the ‘Theater from Workers for Workers’ group, the production is intended as an act of solidarity with the peoples of Palestine and Cuba.

Additionally, the Piraeus Group Cultural Foundation is presenting the Tinos Theater Group ‘Theatropeio’ in the play ‘My Beloved Family’ by Penny Phylaktaki. Directed by Eirini Georgiadou, the performance will take place at the Tinos Marble Museum on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The production features nine actors and a musician, exploring themes of survival and professional pressure within a theatrical troupe.
