Greek theatrical and musical performances

Overview

Cultural and theatrical performances are scheduled across various Greek venues throughout late August and the final months of 2026.

In late August, the Petra Theater in Petroupoli is set to host a production of Bertolt Brecht’s ‘Saint Joan of the Stockyards’ as an act of solidarity with Palestine and Cuba. Concurrently, the Tinos Theater Group ‘Theatropeio’ will perform ‘My Beloved Family’ at the Tinos Marble Museum.

Moving into September and beyond, the National Theatre of Greece will present an inclusive production of Euripides’ ‘The Trojan Women’ at Theatro Vrachon, featuring accessibility measures such as Greek Sign Language and audio descriptions. Other scheduled events include the debut of ‘Thriller in Switzerland’ at Ilisia Volanakis Theatre in November, the return of the oral storytelling project ‘The Absentees’ at Argo Theatre, and various musical tours and collaborative concerts in Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, Drama, and Kyttaro.
