A mathematics professor has implemented strict exam protocols, requiring students to bring only a pencil and requesting medical certification for those wearing glasses to prevent the use of AI-enabled devices like smart glasses or earpieces. The university has established a roadmap to combat technological cheating, which includes training for faculty and the use of AI itself to detect plagiarized exam submissions.
