Greek Vocational Lyceum Candidates Sit Four Specialty Exams Amid 2026 Panhellenic Tests

On Saturday 13 June 2026, thousands of Greek EPAL (Vocational Lyceum) candidates began the specialty part of the 2026 Panhellenic examinations. They were examined in four subjects directly linked to their chosen study track: Material Technology, Construction, Internal Combustion Engines II, and Digital Systems. Candidates had to be in the examination halls by 08:00 and the tests started at 08:30, each lasting three hours.

The specialty exams will continue through Monday 15 June, after which the remaining subjects – Cooling & Air‑Conditioning, Aircraft Engines, and Central Heating Design – will be administered. Final scores for both EPAL and GEL exams are expected between 24 and 26 June. Analysts note that this year’s exams show a marked rise in difficulty for Biology, Informatics and Chemistry, while subjects such as Physics and Latin remain comparatively easier.
