Greenland Mines Launches 2026 Field Season at Skaergaard Project in Southeast Greenland

Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) has begun its 2026 field season at the Skaergaard Project, a key rare‑earth development in southeast Greenland. The company’s support vessel Argus departed Reykjavik, Iceland, carrying drill rigs, geophysical tools, drone‑survey systems, bulk‑sampling equipment and fuel.

A field team of more than 40 technical experts, drillers and logistics personnel is on site, with additional specialists rotating in during the season. The program includes resource drilling, bulk sampling, extensive geophysical surveys, environmental baseline studies, geotechnical and engineering work, and aerial and ground‑based surveys aimed at upgrading the resource and evaluating an initial open‑pit mining scenario alongside existing underground concepts.

The effort supports Greenland Mines’ strategy to build a multi‑asset platform for critical minerals, particularly rare‑earth elements needed for renewable‑energy technologies, electric vehicles and defense applications.
