GreenWay tops Poland's DC fast‑charging market with 21% share in 2026

GreenWay Polska led the Polish DC fast‑charging market at the end of the first half of 2026, holding a 21% share of publicly accessible rapid‑charging points. It edged out rivals Lidl Polska (16.4%), Powerdot (16.1%) and Orlen Charge (7.3%). In the second quarter the leader slightly increased its share while all competitors from second to sixth place lost between 0.1 and 0.4 percentage points, with Tesla and Moya Energia gaining modestly.

Poland’s overall EV‑charging infrastructure is expanding quickly. The number of DC fast‑charging points rose to 5,980, almost matching the 6,593 AC points. This results in about 18.3 battery‑electric vehicles per DC point – the best ratio among major EU markets. Powerdot, which operates more than half of the DC network, now runs over 540 stations and 1,650 charging points, with another 350 under construction.
