Grigor Dimitrov to open Los Cabos ATP 250 against 17‑year‑old French wildcard Moyse Kuaeme

Bulgarian No. 1 Grigor Dimitrov, currently ranked 142, received a wildcard to compete in the ATP 250 tournament in Los Cabos, Mexico, scheduled for 27 July–1 August. He will open the main draw against 17‑year‑old French player Moyse Kuaeme, who is ranked 212 and also entered via a wildcard. The contest will be their first meeting.

The winner of the opening match is set to face either France’s Corentin Moutet or the United States’ Jensen Brooksby in the second round. Dimitrov is using the event as preparation for the US Open, where his ranking slip has placed his direct entry in doubt.

Both players arrived in Los Cabos as part of a 10‑year anniversary edition of the tournament, with Dimitrov having previously reached the round of 16 at the event in 2019.
