Grêmio shows interest in Atlético-MG midfielder Igor Gomes

Grêmio has expressed renewed interest in midfielder Igor Gomes, who is currently with Atlético-MG. Gomes, 27, is not expected to have his contract renewed with Atlético-MG at the end of the season, making him a potential target for the Gaucho club.

While Grêmio has not yet submitted an official proposal, the club's management highly values the player and views him as a potential addition to the squad. Previous attempts to negotiate for the player during the last transfer window did not result in a deal, but his potential free agency at the end of the year may change the circumstances.
