Grospol leases warehouse space in Łódź amid Polish market growth

Polish office chair manufacturer Grospol has leased over 6,400 square meters of warehouse space at Prologis Park Łódź. The new facility will support the company’s production plant in Brzeziny by managing a significant portion of its storage and distribution processes. This expansion aims to improve service efficiency for customers in Poland and nine international markets, including Germany, France, Romania, Ukraine, and Hungary.

On a broader scale, the Polish modern warehouse and industrial space market reached 38 million square meters by the end of June 2026. Data from the Polish Chamber of Commercial Real Estate indicates that the Mazowieckie, Śląskie, and Dolnośląskie voivodeships hold the largest resources.

In the second quarter of 2026, gross demand for modern warehouse space reached 1.93 million square meters. New leases, including Build-to-Suit (BTS) projects, accounted for 62.5% of total demand. The national vacancy rate stood at 6.6%, a decrease from 7.3% in the first quarter of 2026.
