Italy reports multiple fatalities including Rai Way manager and Gragnano homicide

Several tragic incidents have been reported in Italy. In Gragnano, the daughter of 75-year-old Genoveffa Totaro, Francesca Buonopane, has been detained on suspicion of voluntary homicide and attempted arson. Investigators allege that following an argument, Buonopane cut a gas pipe and ignited a fire that killed her mother. The suspect, who may suffer from mental health issues, is being held in a psychiatric ward.

In the Viterbo area, Silvano Loia, a 52-year-old procurement manager for Rai Way and partner of actress Francesca Neri, was found dead after drowning in the sea between Tarquinia and Montalto di Castro. His body was recovered near the Montalto di Castro coast after an extensive search operation involving the Coast Guard and firefighters.

In the Grosseto province, a 38-year-old man of Indian origin was found dead in an artificial lake in the locality of Pomonte, Scansano, following a disappearance report. Additionally, authorities are continuing searches for an 86-year-old woman who went missing in the Roccalbegna area.
