Groupama Insurance posts positive pre‑tax profit for 2025 in Greece

Groupama Ασφαλιστική reported a pre‑tax profit of €0.4 million for 2025, marking a turnaround after a loss the previous year. Gross written premiums rose 6.7% to €211.5 million, driven mainly by its Property and Health lines.

The insurer’s capital adequacy improved, with the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) ratio reaching 145.4%, an increase of 7.8 percentage points from 2024. Net insurance result turned into a €167 k profit, compared with a €7.5 million loss in 2024. The company continued to invest in organisational and digital transformation, modernising infrastructure and upgrading services.

Sustainability efforts reduced location‑based CO₂ emissions by 43.7%, and more than 43,500 people benefited from wellness and preventive‑care programmes during the year. CEO Hassène Feki said the results confirm the effectiveness of the strategic plan and underline the firm’s financial resilience and commitment to sustainable growth.
