Groupe Duval to invest €18 million in new Douala mall
French company Groupe Duval has announced an investment of approximately €18 million (CFA11.8 billion) to develop Sadi Mall in northern Douala, Cameroon. The commercial complex, located in Bonamoussadi, is expected to open by the end of 2026.
The project will span over 12,000 square meters and is designed to include a 3,000-square-meter shopping gallery, 3,600 square meters of retail units, a 1,300-square-meter business center, offices, leisure areas, and a food court. The development is expected to create several hundred jobs.
Sadi Mall will host brands such as Intermarché and La Foir’Fouille, aligning with Duval’s broader retail strategy in the country. Since 2022, Groupe Duval has partnered with the Cameroonian group Arno through the joint venture Duval Arno Distribution (DAD) to expand food retail and home furnishing networks across Cameroon.
