Gürsel Tekin seeks alliances with all parties except People's Alliance
During a visit to Batman, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Gürsel Tekin expressed a willingness to form political alliances with any party except for the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı). Tekin emphasized that such cooperation would be aimed at strengthening democracy and ensuring the will of the people is realized.
Tekin criticized the current Presidential Government System, specifically citing the '50+1' rule, and called for a transition to a parliamentary system. He argued that the current separation between legislative and executive powers is problematic and invited all political parties that favor a parliamentary system to unite under the Republican People's Party (CHP) banner.
