Grupo Mas projects 900 million euros in sales for 2026

Grupo Mas, a family-owned retail distributor, expects to reach 900 million euros in sales by 2026, representing a 21% annual increase. This growth is largely attributed to the acquisition of the Malaga-based chain Maskom, which added 51 supermarkets to the group's portfolio. Without the Maskom acquisition, the company anticipates organic sales growth of approximately 7% to 8%.

CEO Jerónimo Martín stated during the 41st Aecoc Consumer Goods Congress that the company aims to become the leading proximity supermarket in Andalusia and Extremadura, targeting a 12% market share in Andalusia. Long-term objectives include reaching a turnover of 2,400 million euros and potentially expanding to 500 stores.

Regarding the current economic climate, Martín noted that the company has worked with suppliers to adjust prices to mitigate inflation. However, he expressed caution due to uncertainties surrounding rising costs for electricity and transport fuels.
