Guabiruba launches first gastronomic circuit to boost tourism

Guabiruba, a city of about 27,000 residents in southern Brazil, will host its inaugural "Guabiruba Sabores" gastronomic circuit from 13 to 30 August 2026. Nine local establishments will offer exclusive dishes that combine the town’s German colonial heritage with ingredients from the Vale Europeu. Municipal tourism secretary Maria Eduarda Schlindwein says the event aims to strengthen Guabiruba’s cultural identity, attract visitors and support entrepreneurs, with technical assistance from Sebrae/SC.

In the nearby resort town of Gramado, a culinary guide spotlights six notable restaurants that showcase the flavors of the Serra Gaúcha. Highlights include 1835 Carne e Brasa, Cantina Pastasciutta, Casa Figueira and others, offering premium meats, Italian pastas and scenic dining experiences for travelers.
