Guadalajara emergency teams rescue victims and manage concert-related road closures

Civil Protection and fire crews in Guadalajara rescued six young people who had become lost in the Huentitán ravine, locating and retrieving them on June 21, 2026.

Later that day, emergency units responded to the Parque Ávila Camacho area after a strong current dragged a 19‑year‑old pregnant woman and an eight‑year‑old girl into a canal. The victims were recovered on a small island, treated for hypothermia and taken to medical care.

Simultaneously, the free concert by the band Maná at the Glorieta de la Minerva caused temporary road closures on major avenues, including López Mateos and Vallarta, to manage crowds and safety.
