Guadalajara expands international flight routes to Paris and the United States

The government of Jalisco and Aeroméxico have announced significant expansions to the international air connectivity of Guadalajara. Starting April 13, 2027, Aeroméxico will launch a direct route between Guadalajara and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the service will utilize Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, providing up to 800 seats per week. This marks Paris as the second European destination with direct service from Guadalajara, following Madrid.

Additionally, new international routes to several United States cities, including Salt Lake City, Atlanta, and Washington Dulles, are scheduled to begin in October. These additions complement existing connections to cities such as Boston, Nashville, New York, Medellín, and Guatemala City.

These expansions aim to bolster the regional economy by facilitating tourism, business travel, and student movement, while also supporting the needs of the Mexican diaspora. The Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico has indicated ongoing investments to increase capacity at the Guadalajara International Airport to support this growing demand.
