Guadalajara protesters demand search for two missing women

Family members and loved ones of Violeta Alejandra Santana Bueno and Melissa Anahí Carranza Contreras held a protest in Guadalajara to demand urgent state intervention in their disappearance. The demonstrators gathered outside Casa Jalisco and later moved to the esplanade in front of the Palacio de Gobierno to call for intensified search efforts.

According to their families, both women were last seen on Monday, July 27, when they left to work in the municipality of Acatlán de Juárez. Relatives are requesting that authorities accelerate investigations to locate them and are asking for public assistance in providing any information that could lead to their whereabouts.
