Guadalajara PSOE leader criticizes PP over water rights

Pablo Bellido, the provincial secretary of the PSOE in Guadalajara, has accused the People's Party (PP) of prioritizing the interests of the Community of Madrid over those of the Guadalajara province. Bellido specifically criticized the management of the Sorbe River, stating that Madrid intends to extract water essential for the development of the local province.

Bellido called on the mayor of Guadalajara, Ana Guarinos, to defend local interests rather than acting in service of the regional PP leadership. He emphasized that securing water is vital for the province's agriculture, livestock, tourism, and industrial sectors, arguing against treating Guadalajara as a mere residential area for Madrid.
