Guadalajara: Two men attacked in shooting on Avenida López de Legaspi

Two men were attacked in a shooting while traveling in a pickup truck on Avenida López de Legaspi in Guadalajara, near the 18 de Marzo light rail station. According to reports, individuals on a motorcycle pulled alongside the vehicle and opened fire multiple times before fleeing.

The passenger sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. The driver was also reportedly injured, though authorities have not officially confirmed this. Despite the attack, the driver attempted to continue driving to reach a nearby clinic for medical assistance.

Security forces have cordoned off the area to preserve evidence, and ministerial personnel have launched an investigation. No arrests have been made, and the motive for the attack remains unknown.
