Guadalupe rehabilitates harvest roads to support rural producers
The municipal government of Guadalupe, in coordination with the state government of Zacatecas, is rehabilitating harvest roads to support rural communities. Mayor Pepe Saldívar met with producers in Zóquite to inspect recent works completed using machinery provided by the State Secretariat of Public Works.
These infrastructure improvements aim to allow agricultural workers to transport products and livestock more safely. Benefited communities include Zóquite, Boca Negra, San Jerónimo, La Cocinera, El Bordo, Noria de la soledad, and El Pescado, with San Ramón scheduled for upcoming work. Other recent local government actions include the delivery of seeds in San Jerónimo and the desilting of over 50 ponds for rainwater collection.
