Guanajuato wine harvest season reaches midpoint

The Vendimias Guanajuato 2026 season has reached its midpoint. Since starting on August 1, the celebration has integrated wine, gastronomy, culture, and music to showcase the grape harvest.

Out of 16 scheduled enotourism experiences, eight have been completed. The remaining eight events are set to take place throughout September and October. These celebrations aim to strengthen local economies by supporting wine producers, artisans, and service providers through the Guanajuato SUMA strategy.

Upcoming events include the ‘Arte y Vino’ Festival at Viñedo San Bernardino on September 19 and the IX Fiesta de la Vendimia at Viñedo Los Arcángeles on September 26, both in Dolores Hidalgo. October events include celebrations at Viña del Cielo and the UTSMA University Harvest Festival in San Miguel de Allende.
