Guaratinguetá athletes achieve success in regional sports competitions

Athletes from Guaratinguetá achieved various successes in recent regional sports competitions. In rhythmic gymnastics, Beatriz Vieira won the Hoop, Clubs, and All-Around categories at the JEESP State Selection in Praia Grande, securing a spot in the Paulista Selection for the National Youth School Games in Foz do Iguaçu.

In table tennis, local competitors earned multiple podium finishes during the Copa SESI in Lorena and the Liga Valeparaibana in Taubaté. Additionally, the Taça São Paulo de Estreantes in Suzano saw several young gymnasts achieve gold, silver, and bronze medals across various age categories.

Other local events included a women's adapted volleyball tournament in São José do Barreiro and the debut of the Copa Empresarial, featuring matches between local companies such as Rhiad Móveis, Provale Telecom, and Tenda Atacado.
