Guardia Civil arrests driver in Seville hit-and-run

The Guardia Civil has identified and arrested a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident in Los Palacios y Villafranca, Seville. The incident, which occurred on September 13, involved a collision between a car and a cyclist on the A-362 highway, leaving the cyclist seriously injured.

Investigators identified the vehicle by analyzing debris left at the scene. Upon locating the car, authorities found damage consistent with the collision and noted that the driver had already begun repairing the vehicle. The driver now faces judicial proceedings for serious injury and leaving the scene of an accident, offenses that carry potential prison sentences and the loss of driving privileges.
