Guardia Civil dismantles marijuana plantations in Moraleda de Zafayona

The Guardia Civil has dismantled two marijuana cultivation sites in Moraleda de Zafayona as part of operation ‘Tabla EHT’. Two individuals, aged 26 and 50, have been placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities for alleged crimes against public health.

Following investigations triggered by visible cannabis plants and strong odors, authorities searched two separate plots. The first site contained a 120-square-meter greenhouse with approximately 300 growing marijuana plants. The second site featured an outdoor cultivation of 51 plants. Additionally, officers discovered an illegal electrical connection at the second property. The operation involved multiple units, including the investigation area of Huétor Tájar and security units from Loja and Granada.
