Guardia Civil officers injured in high-speed narcolancha collision

Five individuals were arrested in Cádiz following a high-speed pursuit involving a narcolancha near the mouth of the Guadalquivir River. During the chase, the high-speed vessel intentionally rammed a Guardia Civil patrol boat, the Río Guadalmedina, causing visible damage to the official vessel and resulting in minor injuries to several agents.

The pursuit continued until the vessel was intercepted off the coast of Huelva, where all five occupants were taken into custody. This incident highlights the increasing use of high-performance boats by smuggling operations, which often outpace standard law enforcement patrol craft.
