Guardia di Finanza appoints commanders in Sardinia, Molise and Umbria
Lieutenant Giulia Consales (28) has taken command of the Guardia di Finanza company in Tempio Pausania, Sardinia, succeeding Captain Andrea Gualtieri, who is moving to a new posting at the Economic‑Financial Police unit in Bologna. Consales, originally from Latina, holds a law degree and a master’s in tax law and previously worked in the Cremona operational nucleus investigating fiscal fraud.
Lieutenant Colonel Luca Pirrera, 51, assumed leadership of the Guardia di Finanza group in Campobasso, Molise, replacing Major Pietro Senese Insalata, who is assigned to the training school in Orvieto. Pirrera’s career includes commands in Benevento, Naples’ Economic‑Financial Police, and Lamezia Terme, as well as service at the corps’ General Command.
Lieutenant Luigi Bianco, 29, has been appointed commander of the Guardia di Finanza company in Foligno, Umbria, taking over from Captain Antonio Petrucci, who is transferring to the regional command in Umbria. Bianco entered the force in 2018, holds a law degree, and most recently led an operational section in Florence’s metropolitan unit.
