Guardia di Finanza appoints new commanders in Sassuolo and Faenza

In Sassuolo, the Guardia di Finanza leadership changed as Captain Massimiliano Carrieri left the command of the Sassuolo unit for a position with the Economic‑Financial Police in Venice. He was succeeded by Captain Raffaele de Martino, a former instructor at the L’Aquila school and former head of the Carrara operational group. Mayor Matteo Mesini welcomed both officers, thanked Carrieri for his service and expressed confidence in de Martino’s upcoming work.

In Faenza, Captain Giuseppe De Rosa assumed command of the local Guardia di Finanza company, replacing Captain Daniele Di Deodato, who is moving to the Economic‑Financial Police unit in Perugia after three years in Faenza. De Rosa, a Naples native who joined the force in 2016 and holds degrees in law and economics, has previously served in Vercelli and at the L’Aquila school. The provincial commander of Ravenna thanked Di Deodato for his contributions and congratulated De Rosa on his new appointment.
