Guardiagrele's 56th Abruzzo Artisan Art Show Launches July 31

The 56th edition of the Mostra dell’Artigianato Artistico Abruzzese will open in Guardiagrele on July 31 at 18:00, with the town’s mayor and cultural officials in attendance. The exhibition runs daily from August 1 to 23, offering workshops, live craft demonstrations, concerts by Guardiagrele Opera, round‑table discussions on experiential tourism, a dialect poetry contest, and a dedicated “School of Arts” campus for children and teenagers.

Additional programmed events include a presentation of the book “Il diritto di essere ricordato,” guided tours of historic artisan sites, and performances by the Quartetto Kontakt and other local musicians. The program emphasizes interactive participation, aiming to transform the traditional craft fair into an immersive cultural experience for visitors.
