In early August, the CNA Turismo Abruzzo forum held in Guardiagrele’s Chiostro di San Francesco reinforced this strategy, urging coordinated investment, quality accommodation and year‑round promotion of Abruzzo’s artisanal heritage. Participants cited strong foreign visitor numbers and market opportunities such as Japan, positioning local crafts as a pillar of the region’s tourism offering.
